Teepees, barns and art deco hotels: great venues for vintage styling.

When you traditionally think of vintage styling you imagine lashings of pastel coloured china, white roses and lace, am I right?  Well I do things a little differently here at Itsy Bitsy Vintage where I'm constantly following trends in wedding styling and the growth in interesting new wedding venues.

Living where I do at the sunny seaside resort of Morecambe, and on the cusp of the Forest of Bowland and the Lake District, we're not short of incredible new venues in which to hold your celebrations. I've been fortunate enough over the last few months to have worked a great bunch of venues including a Teepee photoshoot with Teepee Tent Hire which I styled with props, bunting, and hand crafted items made especially for the shoot including colourful paper pinwheels, decorative pop bottles, ribbon festoon lanterns and handmade chalk board signs. Here is just a taster of a blog post to come, we're very excited that some of these images will be featured in  a forthcoming article in Lancashire Life magazine in their June issue!. Many thanks to Jonathan Bean Photography and Samantha Broadley Photography for their incredible  work. I was also lucky enough to style a vintage travel themed wedding at the beautiful countryside location of Askham Hall Barn in the Lake District, and to have styled a top table and china table for a wedding showcase at our local Art Deco gem, the Midland Hotel in Morecambe. Enjoy these pictures, I hope they show that I'm not a one trick pony but can create something unique and individual for each of you.
