Table settings:  what you get..

Minimal table setting at £2.50pp (based on a table of eight)
Includes for each person a cup and saucer, a small side plate, a silver teaspoon, silver cake fork, and the share of a large cake plate, coffee/teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, sugar tong or sugar spoon.

    Medium table setting at £4.00pp (based on a table of eight)
Includes for each person a cup and saucer, a small side plate, a silver teaspoon and cake fork, the  share of two tea pots, a coffee pot or glass pitcher, one large sandwich plate, two milk jugs, a sugar bowl, a sugar tong or spoon, a two and three tier cake stand, 30 meters of party bunting (not the bonny bunting or country floral range) and three embroidered table cloths. 

Premium table setting at £6.00pp (based on a table of eight)
Includes for each person a cup and saucer, a small side plate, a silver teaspoon and cake fork and the share of two tea pots, a coffee pot or glass pitcher, two 3 tier cake stands, a large sandwich plate, 2 sundae dishes for jam and cream, a large embroidered tablecloth and flower vase for each table, a silver cake slice or cake knife and 40 meters of party bunting.

Includes a free washing up service! 

Don't forget I offer the most generous collection of china table settings for your tables with the design of your tables and functionality in mind. I take care of the washing up as part of my hires service, so you can enjoy the after party with friends and family!

Terms and Conditions
  • Hire period of three days. Can be negotiated for a greater or lesser period on request
  • No delivery or collection service available on hires of less than £100 and only offered within the Lancaster and Morecambe district. 10% discount given for own collections and returns.
  • 50% deposit is required to secure a date. Final amount payable a month before your event.
  • A damages deposit equivalent to 50% of the china order is required along with your final payment. 
  • A minimum damages deposit of £50 is required for any prop hire orders along with your final payment. I reserve the right to increase this figure depending on the value of the props hired. 
  • In the event of breakages, broken or lost items will be charged at a commercial rate for replacement purposes. This is roughly four times the hire charge.
  • In the eventuality that a booking is cancelled by the client after the final payment is made, all monies will be non-refundable.
  • Should a cancellation be made more than a month before your wedding or event, I reserve the right to retain some of your deposit payment for time spent on processing your booking, client meetings, venues vists, working on collaborative design boards, liasing with other suppliers or venue staff, pre-design of styled areas including the taking of photographs, sourcing and making bespoke props.
Please note! 


Itsy Bitsy Vintage does not provide a setting up or waiting on service. Please ensure that items are removed from the party room safely either by designated helpers or by waiting on staff. I will require a large space in which to wipe down and pack, with ease of access to a sink, waste bin, and parking area. If these cannot be provided I will be unable to pack and collect for you. If you are using the combined services of Itsy Bitsy Vintage and a private caterer for an afternoon tea, and have more than 50 guests, we advise you to factor in the costs of additional waiting on staff. If you use Bevington's Catering, you will be provided with one or two waiting on staff as standard but please enquire with your supplier at the time of booking,

If you are using in house catering please check with them regarding the number of waiting on staff they have available and what their policy is on handling vintage china.

If you choose to hire directly from me and to return the items yourselves, I request that any traces of food and liquid from the china is wiped off gently with a soft damp cloth, and that teapots, milk jugs and lemonade pitchers are rinsed out and filled with kitchen towel. Please DO NOT put vintage china into a dishwasher as this ruins the delicate glazes and patterns.

Because of the age and fragility of the china hired we accept that breakages do occasionally happen. To avoid any unnecessary breakages or wearing of delicate glazes we ask that you handle the items with care and that you don't wash the items after use.

Please note that on weddings above 50 people, especially if the hanging of bunting and the laying of table linen is required, styling and setting up will take a minimum of two hours.
