Afternoon tea and a wedding inspiration shoot, Castle Inn, Hornby.

Itsy Bitsy Vintage were kindly invited by the newly opened Castle Inn in Hornby to decorate their party room back in May this year.  This stunning set of pictures show what a gorgeous Inn this is for any number of celebrations, be it the Bistro for an afternoon tea, or the party room for a larger occasion. The Inn boasts the most beautiful rooms to stay in on a B&B basis (we couldn't help ourselves from going 'Ahhh' when we saw them!) and the entire place can be hired for a wedding.

Johnny Bean of Beanphoto took these stunning photos of our pretty bunting, vintage china settings, centrepieces and vintage props. With an eclectic mix of dark beams, open brick work and huge chandeliers, the party room lends itself perfectly to a little vintage Va Va Voom and country vintage chic. A very posh barn indeed!  Many thanks too go to Rebecca and her Mum from Butterfly Bridal in Lancaster for the loan of a gorgeous lace wedding dress and wedding shoes. The dress was heavily embellished with crystals and appliqued flowers and chosen to match the opulence of the textiles and chandelier in the bridal suite. All jewellery used was from the costume jewellery collection at the Vintage Boudoir where you can buy or hire beautiful jewellery perfect for a vintage occasion.  Afternoon tea including finger sandwiches, scones, cream cakes and all petite fours courtesy of  the Castle Inn chef .

The Lancaster district boasts a whole host of wonderful venues for parties and celebrations. We've enjoyed working a wide range of  weddings and parties in village halls and community venues this Spring & Summer, and a very elegant Midland Hotel Wedding only a week ago. Small Hotels and Inns offer yet another alternative, providing both an intimate and elegant setting suitable for smaller groups of guests.  Itsy Bitsy Vintage can be hired either on a styling or DIY basis for all your party needs, and can transform a room into something both exquisite and fun. Book now for your 2013 celebration!
